The OIC-AC has appointed Dr. Umar. A. Oseni as its Secretary-General. Dr. Oseni, who has warmly been welcomed, brings a wealth of experience in legal and compliance, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), Islamic finance, and strategic leadership to the OIC-AC.

Acting Secretary-General Dr. Alper Çağrı Yılmaz paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Walid Abdelwahab, the Director of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) Regional Hub in Türkiye. Nihan Çetin, Head of Marketing and Public Relations, and Havva Nur Getiren, Legal Counsel accompanied Dr. Yılmaz. Ali Rıza Kayar, Project Management Specialist at IsDB accompanied Dr. Abdelwahab.

18th ICC Türkiye Arbitration Day
The Secretariat participated at the 18th ICC Türkiye Arbitration Day held on 16.02.2024. The event panels concentrated on Turkish international arbitration case-law, the use of artificial intelligence in arbitration, and corruption challenges.
