Acting Secretary-General Dr. Alper Çağrı Yılmaz paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Walid Abdelwahab, the Director of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) Regional Hub in Türkiye. Nihan Çetin, Head of Marketing and Public Relations, and Havva Nur Getiren, Legal Counsel accompanied Dr. Yılmaz. Ali Rıza Kayar, Project Management Specialist at IsDB accompanied Dr. Abdelwahab.
The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Arbitration Centre (OIC-AC) is pleased to inform of entering into the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Russian Institution of Modern Arbitration (RIMA).
The Secretariat participated at the 18th ICC Türkiye Arbitration Day held on 16.02.2024. The event panels concentrated on Turkish international arbitration case-law, the use of artificial intelligence in arbitration, and corruption challenges. We extend our sincere thanks to ICC Türkiye for organizing this fruitful event.

OIC-AC and the SOAS Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Centre (SADRC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 21 December 2023.
The OIC-AC held its first side event at the margins of the 39th COMCEC on 5 December 2023. The panel titled “OIC Arbitration Centre: Global Alternative Dispute Resolution” was moderated by Secretary-General Maged Mamdouh Kamel.
The OIC-AC will organize the Panel “OIC Arbitration Centre: Global Alternative Dispute Resolution” on 5 December 2023, at the sidelines of the 39th Session of the COMCEC.
Mr. Hasan Ali Kulak, Legal Counsel of the Istanbul Financial Center, paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of the OIC-AC. He met w/ Secretary-General J.D. Kamel, Deputy Secretary-General Dr. Alper Çağrı Yılmaz, and Head of Marketing and PR Nihan Çetin. Deputy Secretay-General Dr. Yılmaz briefed Mr. Kulak on the establishment process, structure, and competencies of the OIC-AC, and elaborated on the 2023 Arbitration Rules, which strictly adhere to party autonomy, efficiency, and neutrality.
OIC-AC Secretary-General J.D. Kamel paid courtesy visits to numerous alternative dispute resolution (ADR) stakeholders in the Arab Republic of Egypt in November 2023. During his visits, including, among others, the Ministry of Justice, and the Ministry of Investment, J.D. Kamel briefed the High-Level Egyptian authorities on the main objectives of the Centre, its mission, vision, and core values.
