The OIC-AC held its first side event at the margins of the 39th COMCEC on 5 December 2023. The panel titled “OIC Arbitration Centre: Global Alternative Dispute Resolution” was moderated by Secretary-General Maged Mamdouh Kamel.
The panellists were Cemile Demir Gökyayla (Professor of Private International Law at İstanbul Bilgi University/OIC-AC International Supervisory Board Member), Pelin Baysal (Attorney at Law/OIC-AC International Supervisory Board Member), Jonathan Philip Wood (President of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators/Director of London Chamber of Arbitration and Mediation) and William James Macpherson (International Disputes Resolution Specialist/OIC-AC International Supervisory Board Member).
The panel, which attracted broad participation and interest, discussed the impact of OIC-AC on global alternative dispute resolution and the latest accomplishments thereof.
